Not great pictures of the shield. There was a lot of glare from the shop light, and it's not in great focus either. It's also a hard shot to get because of the scaffolding. Anyway, you can still see that most of the shield is gilded. There is a lot of detail with bas relief figures of Amazons battling with I'm not sure who - but there's hair grabbing and someone with a big rock lifted over his head, fleeing, pursuit - lots of action. I will try and get better pictures of this in the future. There's also a Medusa head here, in the middle of the shield, though this one is less wrinkly and scary looking than the one on the breastplate.
