Week eleven. Last week we hit every level with canned air. It's like some kind of magic, the way there's always more gold dust, even when you could swear you'd gotten it all. Now Lou has given the go-ahead to regild the figures on the base. They had been done back when the statue was built, but at that time there were no barriers, and the figures got scuffed and scraped. Now they will look all shiny and pretty again. Here we are just beginning. From this picture you can't see the damage, but you would if you were there. We are just such perfectionists! |
