The party! The parthenon patrons came, as did all of us who worked on Athena, and of course all the people who work behind (and in front of) the scenes at the Parthenon, making sure everything runs smoothly. (Thank you all, by the way). Everyone milled around outside the big bronze doors, sipping wine and waiting to see Athena clothed in gold.
