Finally the doors open and everyone can come inside! Save for the obvious difference of clothing and hairstyles, we could have been a gathering of Greek citizens visiting the goddess in her temple, so long ago. Everyone oohed and ahhed at how beautiful she looked. There was much praise for Alan, Lou Reed, and the whole crew of gilders and painters who helped make this a reality. Yes, I felt proud! |
